Recipes

Spring Chicken and Snap Pea Stir Fry

This recipe is a quick and simple dinner that doesn’t skimp on flavor. The best part of stir-fries is you can use whatever veggies and protein you prefer! Try this recipe with brown rice to add more fiber and protein to your meal.

There are a few different ways to prepare rice. At ONIE, we like to keep it simple by preparing instant rice on the stovetop, but you can also prepare instant rice in the microwave! To prepare in the microwave, place equal amounts of water and rice in a microwave-safe bowl and cover the bowl with another microwave-safe dish to trap the moisture. For 1 cup of rice (2 servings), use 1 cup of water and cook for 6 minutes then let it sit for 5 minutes or until all the water is absorbed into the rice. For 2 cups, cook for 8 minutes and for 3 cups, cook for 10 minutes before waiting 5 minutes.
