This year the 4th falls on a Monday, giving Oklahomans a long weekend to enjoy all the festivities. To help you get out and enjoy one (or more!) of the celebrations happening around Oklahoma, ONIE has created a list of the festivities going on. Throw together ONIE’s apricot pretzel snack mix, grab a cooler full of drinks and some lawn chairs, then sit back and let the fireworks BOOM!

 *Please note there is an admission fee for Frontier City.

Coalgate Independence Day Celebration – Begins downtown @ 10:00 a.m. with turtle race, followed by Oklahoma Territorial Gunslingers, and Parade @ 11:00 a.m., following the parade activities (games, live music, dunk tank, Band Boosters train and ending with the fireworks finale) begin at the 45th Infantry Park, ending with the Fireworks Finale.
