Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, helps people buy enough food each month. People who meet the eligibility requirements receive a monthly SNAP benefit. The SNAP benefit varies from family to family according to income, family size, and available resources. SNAP benefits are placed on the Access Oklahoma electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card. The Access Oklahoma card looks like a credit or debit card and is used in the same way.
