About speakers:
Marla Saeger: Marla is President of the Board of Directors of the Tahlequah Farmers Market, currently serving her 9th year as President. Marla is an accountant and property manager by trade. Her passion is the market. She created an accounting process that keeps track of each day’s sales data including weather, how many vendors, how many customers, & vendor sales values.
Cindy Nocton: Cindy is an accountant and former paramedic by trade. She sits on the Southwest Growers Association and The Lawton Farmers Market Institute board of directors, serving as treasurer for both boards. Cindy Manages the SNAP booth and the fund raising for the market. She grew up on a farm in NW Oklahoma raising wheat and running a cow/calf operation as well as running 200 ewes. Since that time, urban farming has become a passion of hers.
