Farmers Market Harvest Highlight

At participating farmers markets ONIE in collaboration with OSU SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Assistants (NEAs) host a series of Harvest Highlight events. ONIE provides the markets with point-of-sale nutrition resources illustrating produce selection, storage, preparation, and recipes. OSU NEAs will then host monthly Facebook live tours in June, July & August at the participating markets streamed on the farmers market’s Facebook page. We will purchase in-season produce and other food items to make a specific meal. After the tour OSU will host a cooking demonstration at the market or live on Facebook again featuring the items purchased on the tour.
