Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, add salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, jalapeños, cheese, chili powder & cilantro. Mix with a fork to combine. Refrigerate 15 minutes to let flavors develop.
  3. Divide burger mixture into 4 equal portions & flatten each into a 1-inch thick patty on prepared baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes until browned.
  4. Toast hamburger buns if desired. Spread mashed avocado on top side of bun. Add salmon, lettuce, & onion to assemble burger.

Tips

Serve with chipotle mayo as an additional topping if desired!
